Description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As an apprentice, you will assist in fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge in the sheet metal trade.
Responsibilities:
    Assist in the installation and fabrication of sheet metal products.
    Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work specifications.
    Operate hand and power tools to shape, cut, and bend sheet metal.
    Measure and mark dimensions on sheet metal using rulers, scales, and other measuring tools.
    Operate light metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses.
    Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering, and similar equipment.
    Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
    Install and Service HVAC equipment.
    Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications.
    Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
    Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
    High school diploma or equivalent.
    Physical fitness and strength to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
    Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
    Basic math skills and measurements.
    Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures and regulations.
    Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment:
    Work may involve standing, climbing, and making repetitive motions.
    Exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.
