Springs Drive Service Station
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Service Station Manager, will assist with organization, co-ordination and
direction of the Service Station Department within the limits of approved budgets,
programs, policies and procedures.
C-Store Supervisor will ensure all staff adhere to merchandising standards, marketing
efforts, staff appearance, and housekeeping. Will ensure acceptable level of service is
provided, staff attitude is appropriate and Hassle-Free Guarantee Program is followed.
Will ensure claims, invoices and all other paper work assigned is done timely, accurately
and meets policy and procedure. Will ensure environmental regulations are followed and
enforced. Will follow proper recruitment procedures as directed by Service Station
Manager and Human Resources Manager and assist with and enforce written
performance expectations and standards. Will assist in developing a staff training plan
and ensuring that it is followed.
To assist with the adherence and enforcement of Pioneer Co-op policies and procedures
and Union contract.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous service station experience including bookkeeping and supervisory skills considered
an asset. Ability to provide exceptional customer service to the general public and members.
Ability to communicate effectively. Will be required to obtain TDG, WHMIS & Propane
Certifications. Position classified as a Safety Sensitive position therefore is subject to
Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol & Substance Policy as a condition of employment. Shift work
involved. Shifts include days, evenings & weekends.
