The RM of LeRoy, No. 339 (RM) is accepting applications for 2 Full Time Equipment Operators.

The RM has an experienced crew that performs a wide variety of construction related tasks, year-round, to provide excellent service to its ratepayers and the motoring traffic, under the direction of the foreman.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Operating heavy equipment (grader, backhoe, caterpillar, skid-steer, tractor) to complete year-round road maintenance, construction and mowing;
    Stockpiling and spreading gravel;
    Servicing and general maintenance of equipment;
    Manual labor as needed; and
    Other duties assigned by the foreman to meet the ongoing needs of the RM.

The Successful Candidate must have:
    Previous experience operating heavy equipment;
    Mechanical skills;
    Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence;
    Class 1A Drivers Licence (considered and asset);
    Ability to follow instruction, work independently and as a team member;
    Ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions, extended hours including some weekends;
    Ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, council and the public.
