Description

Primary duties will include:
    Reporting to and taking direction from Foreman
    Operating and maintaining municipal equipment as required
    Ensuring municipal vehicles and equipment are operated in a safe manner
    Manual labour as required (picking rocks, sign installation, culvert maintenance, shop and yard maintenance, servicing equipment, picking up parts, removing brush, etc.)
    Other duties as assigned by Foreman

Applicant must:
    Possess a valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving abstract
    Be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lb)
    Have good interpersonal, organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills
    Be willing to be supervised by and take direction from Supervisor
    Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
    Have high attention to details with strong values rooted in health and safety

Experience in maintenance and operation of tractor and mower are considered assets, but not required. Training will be provided to the right applicants. Post secondary and High School students are encouraged to apply.
