OFFICE AND PROJECT MANAGER JOB POSTING:
Good Neighbours Food Centre is a non-profit organization that provides food security programming and food aid within 50km of Rosthern.  Accountable to the Executive Director, the Office and Project Manager is responsible for writing applications, completing reporting requirements for grants, and completing other tasks which support fundraising initiatives undertaken by the fundraising committee. The Office and Project Manager will be responsible for collecting data for grant applications, reporting and compiling it. This position will also oversee special projects and temporary workers
GNFC is seeking a positive and engaged individual with exceptional organizational skills to join our team.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Commitment to building a food secure community & minimizing food waste, while demonstrating a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere toward all
Exceptional communication skills, Strong financial and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with the Executive Director and volunteers, and be able to work independently on specific projects. Ability to manage a variety of projects concurrently
DUTIES:
Align all work/projects with the priorities set out in the Strategic Plan
In collaboration with the centers bookkeeper, complete all center based financial tasks
Assist with receiving and storing food donations and rescue deliveries. Assist with food aid distribution
Build community capacity through coordinating programming that increases the understanding of food security in our community
Coordinate community lunches and community engagement events
Maintain the GNFC website and center postings on social media
Support the Executive Director with initiatives as needed for GNFC. Some evenings required
Provide a monthly report to the Board of Directors and an annual report at the AGM
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid driver's license, vehicle, ability to lift 50 Lbs, criminal record/vulnerable sector check
