Job Summary:
The Mental Health Clinical Program Coordinator, under the direction of the Mental Health Clinical Program Manager, is responsible for the organization, development, and supervision of the Mental Health Programs, services, productivity, and quality of work. The coordinator will ensure that all clients are receiving the required care and that all required policies and procedures are being followed in accordance with the Onion Lake Health Board Inc. policies and procedures and the Community Healing & Wellness working manual.

Job Duties:
    Organize, development, and supervision of the Mental Health Clinic Program as well in coordination with the cultural program manager supervise the counseling cultural team.
    Ensure working policies and procedures are followed in the delivery of counseling and program services.
    Ensure that all staff can develop skills, assist in the development of the Mental Wellness Teams, CISM teams, workshops, programming, and overall team development.
    Ensure that the Wellness programs develop provide the necessary support services in collaboration with other programs delivery agencies.
    Promote a safe and healthy environment for the development and maintenance of helping relationship with the clients.

Job Skills and Qualifications:
    Bachelor of Indian Social Work (BISW) or Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), in a relevant field required i.e., Diploma and/or Certificate in Human Services and/or Counselling.
    3-5 years in case management, counselling, or similar, experience preferred.
    Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
    Sound leadership, staff management, and teambuilding skills.
    High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability
    Politically and culturally sensitive
    High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
    Strong morals and ethics, along with a commitment to staff privacy
