The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement 's Air Ambulance Services, has an opportunity for a full time First Officer - Pilot in Saskatoon. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the transport of critically ill patients and providing 24/7 air ambulance service for Saskatchewan patients using King Air 200 medevac configured aircrafts.
As our successful candidate, you will have:
- The ability to respond accurately, clearly, and courteously to inquiries from clients, greeting passengers and complying with their requests;
- The ability to respectfully interact with a diverse range of clients while maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion;
- The ability to participate and work cooperatively with colleagues to meet client and department goals and objectives with minimal supervision;
- The ability organize and prioritize workload taking into consideration logistics, weather conditions, and dynamic workplace;
- The ability to accurately apply and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Operational Directives, Regulations, etc.;
- The ability to accurately obtain and interpret aviation information and prepare an operational flight plan taking into consideration aircraft weight and balance;
- Instrument flying time that includes use of GPS/FMS equipment;
- Experience in northern and high density airspace;
- Experience in King Air 200 or similar multi-engine turbine powered aircraft; and more!
The requirement for the position is a minimum of 800 hours of flying time with at least 100 hours as pilot in command (PIC) of multi-engine aircraft, a valid Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot license, and the ability to successfully pass an IRT/PPC on King Air B200.
