Description

The Town of Turtleford is inviting applications for the full-time position of Maintenance Foreman and WTP Operator. The successful applicant will supervise outside staff and organize all the duties required for the operation of the Town including the water and sewer treatment facilities.
Duties include:
Maintaining and operating water treatment plant, lift station and lagoon.
Street and sidewalk maintenance including snow removal.
Operating a grader, skid steer, and other heavy-duty equipment.
Spray Park and green space maintenance.
Participate in a rotating schedule or after hours standby and callout duties.
Practice safe work habits and adhere to OHS regulations.
The successful applicant will have a great work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good public relations are essential.
Certification in Water and Wastewater Level 1 would be an asset OR must be willing to work towards the applicable certification requirements. Applicant must have Grade 12 or equivalent.
Applicants will be required to provide a clear Criminal Record check.
Benefit package and a salary which is negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
