Responsibilities
-Day-to-day operations of the Human Capital dept
-International/domestic recruiting activities
-Support managers with processes & employee relations
-New hire orientation
-Support all staff with interpretation of policies/procedures
-Career events/presentations
-Data entry, document prep, legislative research, etc
-Build/maintain positive relationships
-Participate in ongoing training/education to improve knowledge/skills

Requirements
-Diploma/degree in HR (business, commerce, HR etc), education/experience may be considered
-5+ years in HR
-Extensive understanding of Employment Standards/legislation
-Ability to lead/motivate others
-Strong attention to detail, organization & communication skills
-Professional, discretion with confidential/sensitive info
-Skilled in MS office/Internet apps, working knowledge of Dayforce an asset
-Valid drivers license, work flexible hours, travel as needed
