Description

In this role, you will:
- Operate a variety of mobile equipment to support batching of concrete to service the needs of the mine
- Demonstrate safety leadership and comply with company safety policies
- Complete daily operator care rounds and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Ensure proper daily machine startup, operation, and shutdown procedures
- Assist in training and monitoring junior operators

Required:  
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- At least five (5) years of progressive experience in an industrial environment and/or concrete batch plant (batching, handling, and delivering concrete)
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
- Experience with concrete, construction, and heavy equipment
- Valid Class 1A drivers license
- Willingness to perform manual labour as required
- Safety-oriented team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be proficient with use of computers, including Microsoft Office suite and handheld devices
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Recommended:
- Mechanically inclined, with knowledge of equipment and hand tools
- Previous lead hand or supervisory experience
- ACI (American Concrete Institute) Certification
- SAP experience
