WRSOS is seeking highly motivated, independent individuals to join our team as Wildlife Helpline Educators. This is a fully remote position, with all training provided online.
The Wildlife Helpline Educator plays a critical role in our organisation, assisting the public by answering and responding to helpline calls. The primary focus is to provide accurate wildlife information and reduce unnecessary removal of animals from their natural habitat. If an animal requires intervention, the Educator is responsible for coordinating its rescue, pickup, and transportation to a veterinarian or licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
The position will be 35 hours a week at $15.50 per hour.
We're seeking individuals who are:
-Passionate about wildlife, conservation, and education
-Excellent communicators with strong problem-solving skills
-Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise under pressure
-Comfortable working with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets), Slack, and web-based applications
-Experience or interest in social media/marketing is a plus
Grant requirements
- Between 18-30 years of age
- Must be returning to school in Fall 2025 in a related field
- Candidate must reside in Saskatchewan
The ability to speak and read French is considered an asset
