Job Summary:

Meadow Lake Native Urban Housing Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Vacant Unit Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of unoccupied rental units. The successful candidate will ensure that vacant homes are thoroughly cleaned and move-in ready for new tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform deep cleaning of vacant rental units, ensuring they are move-in ready.
Dust and vacuum all surfaces using microfiber cloths, feather dusters, and HEPA-filter vacuums.
Clean and sanitize furniture, light fixtures, window sills, and hard-to-reach crevices.
Mop and clean all flooring, including tile, hardwood, and carpeted areas.
Wash windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to remove smudges and streaks.
Deep clean appliances, fixtures, kitchens, and bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and countertops.
Remove debris, clutter, and any leftover materials from the premises.
Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards.
Provide additional cleaning services as needed, such as carpet cleaning, mold remediation, and odor removal.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the housing management team.

Requirements:

Previous experience in professional cleaning services preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and safe chemical handling.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality cleaning standards.
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift objects, and move furniture if needed.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
Valid drivers license and reliable operating vehicle.
