Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in both field and office environments within the heavy civil construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the heavy civil construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work in both field and office environments.
P.Eng. (Professional Engineer) with APEGS (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan) and/or PMP (Project Management Professional) designation would be an asset.
Civil Engineering graduates are encouraged to apply.
