Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Services, the Senior Financial Analyst ensures compliance and fiscal accountability and supports strategic decision-making. This role manages procurement, asset management, expenditure control, accounts payable, revenue, contract management, and reporting while providing financial guidance and forecasting support.
What Youll Do
Oversee procurement, asset management, accounts payable, revenue, expenditure control, and reporting.
Manage the purchase card program and ensure fiscal accountability.
Support expense forecasting and analyze financial trends.
Provide financial guidance on appropriation control, policies, and procedures.
Act as primary liaison with the provincial auditor and coordinate audits.
Lead year-end accounting and financial reporting.
Update and monitor financial policies for compliance.
Review reconciliations and manage the chart of accounts.
What You Bring
A degree in finance, accounting, or business administration. A CPA designation is an asset; candidates must actively work toward one.
Minimum five years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, and operations, preferably in the public sector.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
Experience in Saskatchewans public service or knowledge of the legislative branch is beneficial.
