The Town of Kindersley is inviting applications for the position of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
The Town of Kindersley is a community of approximately 5,000 residents and is the hub of west central Saskatchewan. It also serves a regional population of well over 20,000 with its diverse variety of commercial and professional services that rival other communities of our size.
As CAO, you will work closely with our strong, business-minded Council and are responsible for managing the daily affairs in accordance with the council approved policies, plans, and bylaws along with other duties assigned by the Council or prescribed by The Municipalities Act. The CAO position is supported by 40 plus knowledgeable and dedicated staff members.
The successful candidate for the Chief Administrative Officer position will have:
Certificate in Local Government Administration
Urban Certificate of Qualification from the Urban Municipal Administrators Association of Saskatchewan
Extensive management experience, ideally in a municipal government setting.
Experience with Vadim software is an asset.
Experience with financial planning and asset management.
Strong interpersonal skills
