Description

The Humboldt Golf Club is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to assist our GM in overseeing the smooth operation of our golf course and event centre environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible managing day-to-day office tasks, supporting team members, ensuring efficient administrative processes and maintaining a positive and productive work environment. This position requires excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities: (in no particular order)Assist GM with staff hiring.Assist with Staff Onboarding,Training,and Career development.Staff Scheduling-Conflict resolution and problem solving-Establishing policy,procedure,training and op's manuals.Meeting with department heads/mgr's re: planning and tracking.Establish/implement/maintain fully integrated calendar in Google Workspace.Provide general customer service and support to visitors.Manage and maintain filing systems.Handle incoming and outgoing mail.Assist Finance Mgr with Invoices and finances where required.Maintaining office supplies and equipment.Ensure the office is well maintained and organized at all times.Assist with scheduling, staffing and billing of corporate events, wedding events, golf and non golf events.Provide after sales service, follow up guidance and correspondence with wedding hosts and planners.
Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent. Associate or Bachelors degree in business administration, office administration, or related field is highly preferable.Proven experience as an office manager, administrative assistant, or similar role.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.Proficient Computer Skills (Microsoft Office 365,Google Workspace etc)Experience or willingness to learn other software platforms such as Payworks, Quickbooks, Point of Sale)Willing to explore and learn AI platforms.
