In this role, you will:
- As a supervisor you will provide direction to team members to ensure safety and productivity for uninterrupted supply of utilities through the efficient operation of the acid, oxygen, steam, and backup power generation systems.
- As a professional engineer you be required to correspond with regulatory agencies, and other departments within Cameco business units. You will also be responsible for proper documentation of quality control jobs and provide budget estimates and forecasts as required.
- As a leader you will ensure safety is your priority by leading safety meetings, complete job inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Cameco programs, as well as preparing reports and managing activities to completion within schedule and budget requirements.
Required:
- A valid Saskatchewan first-class Power Engineering Certificate.
- A minimum of 15 years of operational work experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended:
- Knowledge of Acid plant operation, boiler operations and steam distribution, and utilities (such as electrical backup power generation and plant air systems).
