Description

As a member of The Odessa Co-op team, this associate will provide operational stock, yard and warehouse support, and will also provide occasional tire repair and lube services for a variety of members' vehicles and implements - all in a safe and customer-centred manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- assisting with various yard / warehouse operations (such as loading and unloading stock);
- assisting co-workers, using the Co-op's POS till system, with other support work (such as receiving, stock duties, maintenance and front counter sales).
- Safe and efficient use of the Co-op's equipment for stock loading / unloading, and to fulfill tire and lube service appointments;
- provide quotes for tire sales, via online ordering systems;
- ensure a clean and professional shop area is maintained, with hazards well-managed;

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Odessa Co-op needs a reliable individual with retail stock, automotive and / or farm shop experience who:
- is committed to a safe working environment
- is interested in working for a community-centred Co-operative with a loyal membership
- is ambitious, team-oriented and who is passionate about serving people
- is comfortable with new technologies (e.g. online sales till system, online ordering web platforms and TPMS tools)
- is physically fit and able to regularly lift, pull, push items over 50 lbs
- has a current Class 5 Drivers License
- HAS EXPERIENCE CHANGING AND SERVICING TIRES
- has experience operating a typical yard forklift or similar equipment
