Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Assist in design drafting and detailing using Revit Software.
Prepare technical construction drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and details with support from the project team.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate construction documents for various disciplines.
Support the project team by managing revisions and updates to drawings throughout the construction process.
As-built/As-found measurements and drawings.
Attending and participating in client and / or construction meetings.
Accompany staff to site visits
Perform other related duties as assigned.
CHARACTERISTICS & SKILLS:
Degree or Diploma in Architectural Technology or related program, equivalent qualification.
1-3 years of demonstrated experience in an architectural drafting or design role (internship/co-op experience considered).
Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with other design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Twinmotion, Abode) is an asset.
Knowledge of building and zoning codes is considered an asset.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
A willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
