Building the Future-Legal & Policy
Temporary Appointment, 1 year term
Regina Head Office


Job Summary:
Prepares and reviews policy and procedure documentation prepared for consideration.  Researches, develops and assists with writing policies and procedures. Drafts an analysis of issues and impacts of proposed policies and procedures. Follows up and reports on status of policy/procedure development within the Policy Team. Assists manager in developing plans for and completing assigned projects.


Qualifications:
University degree where the several classes include research, non-technical report writing, and/or policy studies.

Educational experience in writing or reading policies and procedures with supporting documentation.
Educational experience researching, analyzing, synthesizing ideas and processes, and drafting reports for recommendations/decision making based on this information.
Database experience.
Excellence in communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently using sound judgement.      
Positive, constructive interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish effective working relationships and commitment to teamwork.
