Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory, sourcing parts, and ensuring that our operations run smoothly. This position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service within a fast-paced environment.

Duties
Source and procure parts for various systems.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks to ensure availability of necessary parts.
Assist customers in identifying the correct parts needed for their specific requirements, providing expert guidance as necessary.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track parts usage and manage inventory levels effectively.
Collaborate with team members to fabricate or modify parts as needed to meet operational demands.
Implement demand planning strategies to anticipate future inventory needs based on historical data and trends.
Ensure that all parts are stored properly and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Skills
Proficient in sourcing and procuring automotive or mechanical parts, with experience in dealership environments preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Familiarity with demand planning processes to optimize inventory management.
Experience with CMMS software for tracking inventory and managing part requests is advantageous.
Ability to fabricate or modify parts as required, demonstrating problem-solving skills in practical applications.
