We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Multi-Line Switchboard Operator to manage our incoming and outgoing calls in a fast-paced, professional environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a keen attention to detail. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth telephone operations and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a multi-line switchboard, routing calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
Greet callers in a polite, professional manner and handle inquiries promptly.
Screen and transfer calls, taking messages as necessary.
Provide general information about the companys services or departments.
Maintain accurate records of calls, messages, and other related tasks.
Perform basic clerical duties, such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents.
Assist with administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Handle emergencies and special situations efficiently.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a switchboard operator or in a customer service role preferred.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with office equipment.
