Summary of Position

This posting is for Temporary Part-Time Pre-K ELIS Educational Assistant Position at various school locations in the Battlefords commencing March 3rd, 2025 and ending June 30, 2025.  Hours of work can vary-3 hours per day five days a week or 6 hours per day two to three days per week. There is the ability for staff to obtain full-time hours, if interested, by accepting two part-time contracts.

Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. Educational Assistants support students with intensive needs in five key areas: providing personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioural support as required by students and directed by teachers.

Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
