Living Sky School Division is hiring a Permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) Learning Consultant based out of our Central Office in North Battleford to commence with the start of the 2025-2026 school year.

We are looking for a Learning Consultant who is interested in promoting student voice and thinking at the middle years and high school levels. The ideal candidate has knowledge across the curriculum, instructional leadership experience and possesses understanding of culturally appropriate and authentic assessment measures that foster improved educational opportunities and outcomes. The candidate desires to build capacity in others. They will be grounded in Indigenous pedagogy, focusing on the holistic development of the childencompassing physical, mental, spiritual, and intellectual growth. They will be committed to sharing the education sector's goal of transforming First Nations and Mtis Education and improving outcomes for First Nations, Mtis and Inuit children and youth over the next decade through the new Provincial Education Plan (PEP) framework. They will advocate for programs and initiatives that reflect Indigenous perspectives, worldviews, cultures, and languages.

A deep knowledge of instructional strategies, assessment, and curriculum is essential. Applicants must be collaborative, organized, and able to foster positive connections with other professionals. Travel to schools within the Division will be required.
