The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) is a treasury board crown responsible for emergency communications including Sask911 and SaskAlert, wildfire management, emergency management, Provincial Disaster Assistance Program and fire safety. This centralized agency ensures a single point of contact for communities, greater coordination of provincial resources and contributes to safer communities in our province.
The SPSA is seeking a Director, Indigenous Engagement and Stakeholder Relations, in the Engagement and Enterprise Projects Branch, who will be responsible for assisting the Agency in cultivating and maintaining meaningful relationships with municipalities, public safety organizations and Indigenous communities across the province. This position is responsible for developing and implementing its Stakeholder Relations Strategy and its Indigenous Relations Strategy, which includes the Agencys response to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action.
