Description

Reporting primarily to the Coordinator, Logistics, our drivers are essential team members of the Regina Food Bank. You will act as an ambassador of our organization while fulfilling the role of delivery food hampers as well as picking up and delivery products across the city of Regina.

The driver will partner closely with our team to ensure that our impacts in the community are maximized every day by making sure that our products are well secured during transit and following cold chain and other food safe considerations, which arriving to its destination in a timely and safe manner.

Responsibilities include:
- experience driving Transits, 3-and 5-ton trucks
- maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment, keeping up with service requirements
- Using our routing software (Routific), cell phone provided
- Timely reporting with delays, damages and major maintenance issues or incidents
- Transfer products from truck to dock area or other designated area by hand, hand truck, electric jack or manual pallet jack
- Using inventory management software (Katana)
- Deliver/pick up products on time, while providing complete customer service
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Training will be provided.

Qualifications:
- proven working experience in a warehouse environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Class 5 license and Driver's Abstract in good standing
- Experience with winter driving
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
- The ability to utilize GPS and local road maps
- Effective Communication skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Passionate about the Regina Food Bank's mission
