Skills & Abilities:
a) Must be able to exercise independence and manage their time and schedules, making sure they are aware of properties for sale and referring accurate information to potential tenants.
b) Must possess excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills to deal directly with tenants and the public.
c) Must be highly organized and pay attention to detail and lease specific covenants to be able to comprehend and interpret for the tenant.
d) Must be an effective listener and possess the ability to communicate accurately and in a timely manner.
e) Must possess problem solving skills to quickly find answers to inquiries.
f) Must possess the ability to operate electronic and hard paper filing systems.
Qualifications:
i. Must possess at minimum a two-year technical administration certificate, in addition to demonstrated experience of at least 5 years of practical work experience and or equivalent experience.
ii. Certified Leasing Officer (CLO) or Lands Officer designation would be an asset.
iii. Must be computer literate and be well versed in using GIS, MS Office, systems software, in addition to other office equipment such as copier, fax, security systems, etc.
iv. Should be knowledgeable of the cottage and tourism industry as well as the resort property market.
v. Must possess a valid Saskatchewan drivers license and a dependable vehicle.
vi. Must submit a current criminal record check (CPIC) and 3 written references, with resume.
