Marketing Research and Project Coordinator Specialist
The Trade and Value Added Branch with the Ministry of Agriculture has an opportunity for a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal, cooperative and leadership skills to fill the position of Market Research and Project Coordinator Specialist. You will be part of the Market Research and Intelligence Unit which focusses on assisting industry in increasing agriculture trade for the province.
The Market Research and Project Coordinator Specialist will identify opportunities, develop partnerships, and coordinate projects such as activities with the Government of Saskatchewan international offices, hosting international delegation visits, industry outreach, trade mission support and other market development initiatives. In addition to developing and executing international projects, you will provide written analysis, recommendations and briefings to senior management related to the initiatives. You will lead in updating Saskatchewan Agriculture trade statistics and/or redeveloping our marketing materials for international audiences.
The ideal candidate must have applied marketing theory and marketing research methods, and experience in planning, coordinating and implementing special projects and events. You must be highly organized to manage competing, complex priorities and projects.
Typically, the knowledge and abilities required for this position would have been gained through the completion of a business-oriented university degree complemented by experience in marketing research and the agri-food industry.
