Overview
SRCs Finance Division has a career opportunity for a Financial Controller.  

Accountabilities
    Responsible for the management of the financial systems, internal controls, monitoring and related processes
    In charge of preparing, analyzing and presenting financial statements, statistics, regulatory reporting and other specific reports
    Provide leadership and strategic guidance to the financial analysts that support each of our functional business areas across SRC ensuring accuracy in financial analysis and reporting
    Manage the annual audit process and preparation of financial reports for regulatory and government entities
    Represent the finance department in leadership meetings, ensuring alignment with SRCs strategic initiatives
    Provide analytical advice, reporting, forecasting and support across SRCs strategic decision-making in the business areas
    Review business planning activities and provide financial recommendations and input that assess risk and opportunities and support long-term financial sustainability
    Serve as the primary financial contact to communicate with key stakeholders and external parties such as auditors and financial institutions
    Oversee SRCs budgeting and financial reporting processes ensuring accuracy, compliance and alignment with strategic objectives


Qualifications
    8+ years of financial accounting and financial management experience; experience in relevant industries is an asset
    3+ years of leadership experience
    Chartered Professional Accountant Designation is required
    In-depth understanding of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and knowledge of government reporting
    Experience with cost accounting in a manufacturing organization is an asset
