Brandt Group of Companies is currently seeking an Engineering Team Lead for our Regina, SK location.

This position is responsible for management, design, project planning, and estimating; serves as the business and technical head of engineering platform

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Create and manage engineering teams for successfully delivering projects to internal customers
- Develop, mentor, and retain high quality design staff
- Identify and mitigate technical and business risk related to the engineering design of products
- Develop design concepts and directions for project teams that will create long-term profitability of the platform
- Work with customer support and provide technical support for field issues as necessary
- Identifies areas for improving cost, quality, feature offerings, etc to business development leads
- Field research as required.  Business travel will be an occasional requirement.
- Other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

- Professional Engineer or Technologist with 5+ years experience
- Extensive experience in relevant design and design tools
- Experience with project management and/or leading other technical staff
- Excellent communication skills  written and verbal
- Extensive product/project knowledge in the platform area
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent work ethic
