Reporting to the EMS Foreman, the EMS Crew is responsible for utilizing a tractor in a drag hose system to inject manure on land surrounding OlySky barns in a responsible manner.
Crew members work 10 days on, 5 days off, then 10 nights on, 5 nights off in 12-hour shifts. Per-diems are paid while working away from home and work occurs at various locations throughout Saskatchewan.
General Responsibilities
-Map application fields in the tractor using GPS equipment
-Roll up and lay out hose
-Inject manure at prescribed rates based on tractor speed and flow rates
-Towing and parking trailers and equipment
-Keeping records of various aspects of manure injection throughout your shift
-Any other assistance as required by the Foreman
Education/Experience Required
-Drivers license required 1A license preferred but not required
-Previous experience with tractors would be an asset
-Mechanical experience an asset
-Overtime available
