Description

Our family is looking for 1 qualified homecare/healthcare aide to work with our 7 year old quadriplegic son. He is physically disabled, but very smart, cute and intelligent. We are hoping to find workers who will bond with him. Your qualifications should be as listed.

-homecare/healthcare aide certificate or equivalent
-nursing or equivalent
-grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-drivers license
-first aid
-criminal record check
-record keeping of daily activities
-general housekeeping duties
-experience working with special needs children or people.
-preparing meals
-picking up groceries/medication/other family needs
-administering medication in a safe manner
-driving/assisting patient/client to and from appointments
-ability to lift 50lbs in a safe manner
-mature
-reliable
-ability to take orders and work within a team/home environment.
-assist client/patient with baths
-assist client/patient with physiotherapies
-assist client/patient with overall general hygiene
-assist and work with the family
