Hours of Work: 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts per 4 weeks

Job Description: Maintains, operates and repairs boilers in a plant/energy centre.

Education
- Power Engineering Technician certificate
Licenses
- 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate
Competencies
- Communication skills
- Intermediate - Computer skills
- Organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to work independently
- Intermediate knowledge of mechanical and electrical trades
Other Information
- Ability to enter into confined spaces.
- Previous experience in operation of water tube boilers & water testing.
- Understanding of chiller operation & general steam plant preventative maintenance would be preferred.
- Must be able to work all shifts, days, nights and weekends on short notice (2 hours or less).
- Will be required to change shift schedules with minimum required notice.
