Job Description: Responds to emergent and non-emergent calls for service, providing Advanced Life Support, initial assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons in accordance with Saskatchewan Ambulance Act and Regulations, Emergency Health Services Basic and Advance Life Support Protocols, and organization policies and procedures.

Education
- Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
Licenses
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation HCP Certificate (CPR-HCP)
- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
- Registered Emergency Medical Technician/Primary Care Paramedic (EMT/PCP)
Competencies
- Advanced - Interpersonal skills
- Advanced - Communication skills

- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Other Information
- No guaranteed hours of work
- Must be available for a minimum of 1 to 4 days per week. Must be available all shifts which include, short shifts, short notice calls, statutory or designated holidays
- Travel required
- Cut Knife is located approximately 55 km west of North Battleford
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Travel within the region and provincially
- Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
