Description

DMS SERVICES INC. is looking to hire a full time permanent Senior Network Technician who can work quickly, efficiently, and accurately in a fast-paced team environment.

The ideal candidate will be a competent individual with a passion for technology!

Responsibilities:
- Configuring and maintaining network functionality for existing networks. Troubleshooting and identifying issues to ensure long term network efficiency and redundancy.
- Evaluate & Maintain existing networks and performance.
- Testing and configuring software and maintaining and repairing hardware and peripheral devices.
- Running Ethernet cable and deploying computers and servers.
- Identify, analyze and resolve various technical issues.
- Managing existing radio networks, channels, and radio frequencies.
- Troubleshooting and resolving client IT challenges.

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows & Linux operating systems.
- Expertise in networking and Enterprise class systems.
- Knowledge of radios and point to multi-Point networks.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory and Exchange.
- Strong network operations (routing & switching).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of Networking VLAN, RADIO, VOIP, VPN, WI-FI, TCP/IP protocols.
- Ability to learn new software quickly and possess expertise in multiple software applications and platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to direct communicate concisely in a manner that suits the intended audience
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
- Knowledge of website coding, hosting and responsive coding will be considered an asset.
- Certifications are considered an asset.
