The Communications Officer will work under the direction and supervision of the Director of Finance & Personnel within the Finance & Operations Department providing support and assistance to the Communications team.
Qualifications:
* Media or Communications training/certification or working towards a designation would be considered an asset.
* Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures.
*Must be proficient in Microsoft Office package; including Microsoft Teams.
* Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
* Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of traditional First Nation values, beliefs and healing
* A successful criminal record check and a valid driver's license
