Cook/Nutritionist  Little Peoples Learning Lodge

The Little Peoples Learning Lodge is currently accepting applications for the Part Time Cook/Nutritionist
position. This individual will be punctual, hardworking, dependable and motivated to provide nutritious
snacks and lunch for the children daily.

Job Summary:
Perform all cooking and baking duties to ensure that all children receive healthy and nutritious home cooked
meals and snacks. Daily sanitization of kitchen and all appliances is required, ensuring clean and sanitary
cooking and food prep area.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Maintain an organized and sanitary work area.
Food preparation ensuring proper portions per child
Knowledge of exceptional food nutrition preparation
Assist development of the monthly meal plan
Maintain a daily & weekly cleaning schedule for kitchen appliances
Maintain an organized and sanitary work area for facility
Report any maintenance problems and/or required supplies to the Coordinator
Other duties as may become necessary from time to time

Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Willingness to learn on the job and take training as required
Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships within the centre
Ability to work in harmony with staff & students
Punctual, motivated to go above and beyond the expectations
Ability to maintain professionalism and interact professionally with staff, parents and visitors
at all times
Ability to work in a team environment in a friendly and peaceful manner
Organization skills and time management skills
Valid First Aid Certification and CPR Certificate
Current Safe Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain)
