Description

Janitor
The Little Peoples Learning Lodge School, Head Start & Daycare, is currently accepting applications for Janitor.
This individual will be punctual, enthusiastic, dependable and motivated to provide a sanitary environment to support
the children, students and staff.

Responsibilities:
Daily, weekly and Monthly Cleaning of the Education Facilities
Emptying, wiping and drying garbage receptacles daily
Hauling all garbage and recycling to the bins daily
Vacuuming, sweeping and dusting
Sanitizing surfaces, bathrooms, and kitchen
Sanitizing play surface areas
Take garbage and recycling to community waste bins
Shampoo Rugs regularly scheduled
Moving furniture including shelving units for sweeping and moping
Washing walls, windows and windowsills daily
Replenishment of garbage bags, paper towels, hand sanitizer and any other items that require refills
Ability to establish a routine to ensure all janitorial tasks are maintained daily, weekly, monthly
Continuously looking to improve upon tasks to help limit the spread all health related issues

Qualifications:
Self-starter  minimal supervision
Punctual, motivated to go above and beyond expectations
Commitment to ensuring Education Facilities are cleaned & sanitized daily, weekly, monthly
Attention to detail
Positive attitude, ability to take direction
Ability to work independently in each building after hours (No unauthorized people)
Willingness to strictly adhere to health and safety protocols for all Education Facilities
Ability to follow checklists for each building, and provide feedback on improvement needed
Ability to interact professionally with staff, parents and visitors at all times
