Looking to hire for an entry level position in a hands-on environment, qualified applicants will be Strong and Fit to be a good addition to the company as this is a physical job. The job is a full time position with overtime as there are after hours service calls that will be required of the applicant, quite few and far in between (typically only 2-3 per week after hours/weekends) applicant will be required to work overtime on call (after hours calls typically are 20-30 mins with drive time and not typically more than 3 per week but can happen and are quite flexible with time). Applicant must have a valid and fairly clean drivers license as a vehicle will be supplied, along with a company phone and all tools needed to do the job required.
Qualified applicant should feel comfortable enough to move large objects up and down stairs with the use of a wheeler, around 150 lbs when helping to replace a water heater, after training is completed.
Most common job required of this position; changing anode rods in water heaters, qualified applicant will be good with clients, and customer service minded as well as hands on. The job it self is quite easy, you need to book in regular maintenance calls with clients, no payments required for rented water heaters, go in and service the unit which we will train you how to do. After a few months of doing that and getting a handle of how things work, other opportunities will open up to receive further raises for the right person to fill and move up in the company, we offer great wages and raises for technicians that go above and beyond.
Ideal Candidates will have hands on experience with tools, grew up on a farm and have on the job problem solving capabilities, although not specifically required to be hired.
