This role offers an opportunity to shape, enhance and lead our agency.

The E.D. holds overall responsibility for all aspects of the organization. The E.D. reports to the Board of Directors.
BOARD, STRATEGIC, OPERATIONAL
* Works with the Board to define the strategic direction of the organization.
* In partnership with the board ensures proper governance and organizational policies.
* The E.D. is tasked with delivery of an operational plan and policy development.
FINANCIAL
* Develops annual budget for approval by the Board.
* Is financially responsible with the fiscal management of the budget.
* Oversees financial controls to meet regulations and contractual obligations.
HUMAN RESOURCES
* Ensure organized human resources functions.
* Performance management of all employees.
* Promotes a positive workplace culture.
* Provides leadership, direction, coaching for all employees.
PROGRAM & SERVICE DELIVERY
* Develops & implements person-centered programming for residents.
* Ensures the delivery of appropriate effective programming and supports.
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS/ FUNDRAISING
* Builds positive working relationships with stakeholders.
* Ensures timely submission of contractual reporting requirements to government and the Board of Directors.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
* Develops professional community relationships with funders and donors.
* Demonstrates community relations that promote Cheshire Homes mission, values, philosophy.
SUPERVISORY
* Accountable to employees employment life cycle.
* Managing & supervising all employees.
* Overseeing the homes building and equipment needs.

Must have a valide drivers license.
Must provide a criminal record check for vulnerable persons.
