The employee will demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
Follow direction from the manager/executive director
Ability to work with volunteers/other employees in a safe and friendly environment
Cultivate and maintain a positive image for the Food Bank
Able to lift and move heavy objects safely
Have a valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract
The Employee under the direction of the manager will work with the diverse elements of the ESF/BDFR, including but not limited to:
Hamper Distribution
Prepare area for packing hampers
Ensure food safety protocols are utilized
Replenish stock when needed
Warehouse
Shipping and receiving of products
Inspect and Rotate stock as needed adhering to Food Safety Protocols
Identify overflow goods and goods we are in need of
Record in log all product donated in and donated out.
Operations
Ensure the daily maintenance and cleaning logs are filled out (temperature log etc.)
Drive Food Bank Truck for pickups
Inform ED of any shortages
Building and Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
