1. Program administration
- Schedule, organize, administer, rec meetings
- Records and distributes minutes of all meetings
- Coordinate projects and initiatives
- Organize the annual planning session
- Prepare budgets, financial statements and progress reports
- Basic bookkeeping
2. Communications and operations:
- Prepare reports, presentations, brochures, etc.
- Support RS representatives at events and presentations throughout the province
- Coordinate website services
- Plan and update website content
- Respond to enquiries
- Plan and coordinate events and activities
3. Government Relations
- Maintain a relationship with the Ministry of Environment and other ministries
- Facilitate opportunities to interact with members of the legislature, municipal organizations and First Nation communities.

Requirements:
- Be highly organized, understand time management, and can juggle priorities.
- Has experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Google Drive, and website content creation.
- Has a general understanding of waste management, recycling, extended producer responsibility/product stewardship and the environment.
- A Saskatchewan resident. Must hold a Class 5 driver's license. Some travel is required.
- Can work independently and in a team environment.
- The Program Administrator is an independent contractor and not an employee of RS. The incumbent will supply an office and any required equipment and pay their CPP, EI and WCB premiums.
- The position is expected to work up to 500 hours per year.
