Description

Lakeside Medical Clinic has been providing primary health care to the citizens of Saskatoon and area since 1981.  Over the years it has grown to be the largest locally owned medical office in the province of Saskatchewan.  Due to the upcoming retirement of their long serving Executive Director, the Lakeside Medical Clinic Partnership is opening recruitment for a new Executive Director to take over responsibilities later in 2025.

Who youll work with:
You will work closely with the 6 Physician Partner/Owners, an Operations Mgr. and an Accounting / Human Resources Mgr.  This group oversees an Urgent Care Clinic open 7 days a week and a family medicine office open 5 days a week with over 45 physicians supported by a part-time and full-time staff of 44.

What the key responsibilities are:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with Lakesides mission and goals.
Board Collaboration: Work closely with the Partner-Owners, providing regular updates, supporting governance and physician recruitment activities.
Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor and lead a team of dedicated support staff.
Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient operations, budgeting and resource allocation.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a sustainable business.
Advocacy: Represent the clinic as a spokesperson, championing the needs of the physicians, patients and the community as a whole.

What your qualifications should be:
A bachelors degree in management, accounting or finance.
An above average understanding of computers and technology.
A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Proven experience in senior leadership roles of 10+ years.
Strong understanding of financial management and operational best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
A commitment to excellence and a "lead by example" work ethic.
