The Phoenix Intensive Program Services-Enhanced (PIPS-E) Program with Phoenix is looking for a full-time support worker. The support worker works under the direction of Intensive Case Managers to provide support to residents living in the community, who had a diagnosis of mental illness and are considered to have complex needs (substance use, acquired brain injury, cognitive disability, etc.). Support workers help to deliver medication, attend appointments, take for groceries, provide community outings, and other tasks the resident may need assistance with. The ideal candidate will have strong crisis de-escalation skills, be able to build strong interpersonal relationships, and have a good understanding of harm reduction principles. A combination of education and experience working with mental health and addictions is required.
Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's License and a valid First Aid/CPR Certificate are required.
This job requires a combination of day and evening shifts (evening shifts end at 9:30pm), from Monday-Friday.
