Description

The First Nation Representative Worker will work under direction of the Prevention Case Manager and be based out of the Muscowpetung Prevention Office located on the Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation. The successful candidate will be required to understand and assist the Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nations children in care and their Families who may have to go through the Court Process, this includes children who have been placed out of the province. The worker is responsible for ensuring that the mandate is carried out, in accordance with the various Provincial CFS Acts and in accordance with Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation customs, traditions and culture as pertains to its membership. As Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation is moving forward with exercise jurisdiction of their Child & Family Services under Bill C92.
