The Community Safety and Well-Being Branch of the Ministry of Justice is seeking a highly-motivated, well-organized individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Branch, Assistant Directors, and Directors.
As the successful candidate, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess strong computer skills with the ability to create accurate, visually-pleasing documents using software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. This position will be responsible for a variety of support duties including: managing various databases; compiling data from various sources; preparing presentations, briefing notes, reports, and correspondence; providing administrative support to the Directors and Managers within Community Safety and Well-Being; responding to requests related to the services and programs provided by the branch; and managing travel logistics and assisting with coordinating multi-stakeholder meetings.

As an individual working in the area of interpersonal violence and abuse, you are exposed to sensitive subject matter and situations. You will be respectful, co-operative, flexible, versatile, and adaptable in order to meet demands.
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be acquired through training in office administration, combined with several years of administrative support experience.
