Seeking an experienced cook to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children in our daycare centre. The ideal candidate will create balanced menus that meet dietary guidelines while accommodating food allergies and restrictions.
Key responsibilities:
Plan and prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks for children aged 6 months to 5 years
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
Track inventory and manage food orders
Work with staff to accommodate special dietary needs
Keep accurate records of meals served and temperatures
Requirements:
Food Handler's Certificate
2+ years of cooking experience
Knowledge of child nutrition and dietary guidelines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Criminal record check required
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time
