Description

The Wellness Director will supervise Mental Health, Addictions, Post Majority Support, Jordan's Principle and Youth Counselling programs. The position will work collaboratively with Prevention Services, Health, Education, Child and Family Services and Finance delivering Wellness Services to community members. We are seeking a candidate to lead transformative changes and shape the future of Mental Health, Addictions and other Community Services in Saulteaux.  
- Provide leadership and direction including planning, implementation, and evaluation of Community Wellness programs.
- Supervision of staff as per organizational structure.
-Coordinate development of annual workplans in accordance with multi year community health plan.
-Liaison between 2nd level service providers, contractors and the First Nation.
- Proposal writing, negotiations and reporting for funding agreements.
- Recruitment, training and orientation of staff within program.
