Description

This role requires accurate time entry, time corrections when required, auditing of gross-to-net for accuracy, leave and WCB management per legislative requirements, benefit plan rules, organizational policy and CBA application, record of employment generation and upload to Service Canada, ability to work through complex payroll scenarios, and benefit plan administration in conjunction with the provider.
The Payroll & Benefits Specialist must be able to communicate clearly and consicely with staff, managers, executive leaders, other partners and stakeholders.
- Payroll compliance practitioner designation an asset.
- Accounting diploma an asset
