Sweetgrass Daycare is seeking applications for energetic, motivated, and caring individuals to join our Daycare Team!

Under the supervision of the Day Care Director; the Early Childhood Educator will provide support to children from ages 18 months to 12 years of age and their families to support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social developments of children in the day care program.

* Knowledge and awareness of cultural values and practices within the community.
* An ability to demonstrate energy and enthusiasm while working with children and families.
* Must be willing to take direction, be open to new ideas, able to learn and grow with the program, the children, and the parents.
* The ability to speak and understand Cree is an asset.
* Confidentiality is essential.
* Ability to work independently, in an initiative-taking manner and effectively as a team player.
* A successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
* Access to an insured vehicle during working hours is required.
